| COUNT: 473 TAG:Open OUTFIT:linkNOTES:none | After Lorna's unsurpervised outing, she promised her mother to make certain that if she had to go out that she would take security. Lorna wasn't entirely happy about that but she wasn't going to argue with it. So a little after noon, she went to find her personal bodyguard. Altan was a Turkish werecat with a no-nonsense, militant air about. She also suspected that he was one of her father's progenies. He wasn't too bad for one if he was. Then again, she grew up with him. He was actually sort of fun once you got past his stoic regard to the world and everything around him. Plus, he spoiled just as much as her parents. It was really the only reason she wasn't a complete royal bitch. He drew the line if her safety was in question, but he usually let her do and have whatever she wanted.
"Al, I don't need a babysitter," she complained as they got out of his car.
"I'm not babysitting you," he argued. "I'm paid to babysit the people that are potential threats to your pretty little head."
"Can you please do it at a distance then?" she asked, batting her eyes sweetly.
He eyed her for a really long time. It was such a lengthy pause that Lorna actually began to worry that she would be stuck with him following her around like a lost puppy all night. She didn't really mind him driving her around and keeping her safe. It was the proximity that bothered her.
"Alright I will keep a distance but I am still going to follow you within earshot," he said.
Lorna grinned and immediately agreed because she knew it was the best she was going to get. So, with their little compromisation, she scampered off to explore the Square and everything it had to offer. With a decent allowance, she actually had enough money to have a very good time. She just had to decide what she wanted to do and where exactly to start. It wasn't the easiest thing to do. She wasn't used to being out and about, and on top of that she had to factor in her bodyguard at all times. In the end, she decided on an arts and crafts store to start off.
She needed a new scrapbook album and some supplies. She had theme project in mind and wanted to get started on it as soon as possible. She got wanted she needed, paid for it all, and left the craft store with her bag of supplies and started walking again. She stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and looked around her at all the shops and restuarants. She had absolutely where to go next. She just knew she didn't want to go home just yet. She was enjoying her newfound freedom..

Nadia was so tired of staying inside all the time. So finally the blonde finally decided to get out on her own. It was actually pretty invigorating to not hav3 someone around the corner watching and listening to your every word. The house was entirely to crowded for her taste. She would be happy with just her family there. She liked the intimacy of the idea.
That was one thing that everyone knew about Nadia. She was very family centered. She preferred it to be just them. It was just better that way. She didn't like having people coming in and out of their home for business with her father. The nights seemed long and lonely now because of it. With everything going on it left less time with her father and sister and more time for her being alone, left to her own devices. It wasn't fair.
So now here she was. All alone walking down the streets of the square. She had no idea what she would do, she just wanted to get out and get some fresh air. She passed several shops as she meandered about. Nothing ever caught her eye to draw her into an actual store. She wasn't looking for anything in particular either. Just something to catch her eye. But nothing ever did.

| COUNT: 236 TAG:Open OUTFIT:linkNOTES:none | Lorna finally exited the craft store with a large back of goodies. She had bought a brand new scrapbook, a set of five different types of artsy design scissors, some fabric, some construction paper, glitter, and some other embelishments. She started walking down the street to where the car was parked. She knew Al wasn't inside. No, Al was following her in the shadows, keeping her safe at a distance just like he promised he would be.
Half way down the street, the bag broke. Everything she bought scattered over the pavement. Frowning, she knelt down and quickly tried to fit what she could in her purse. She got the glitter and other add-ons for the scrapbook inside easily. it was the scissors that were tricky. She got fed up fairly quickly and simply gathered the scrapbook, paper, fabric squares, and scissors up in her arms. She got to her feet and slammed right into something.
She stumbled back and glared at the unseen barrier, only to see it was another girl. Any other day, she would have bitten their head off. As it was, she had been out at least an hour before the sun went down. She was tired and her cheeks and nose had a mild case of sunburn from just that little bit simply because she never really made a habit of going out with the sun so bright.
"Sorry," she muttered.

Nadia was off in her own world. There was so much going on in her personal life that she was oblivious to the world around her. Sure she had no idea about all the dirty details of her father's business doings. He tried to keep her innocence in it all intact. She only knew what she had to know. And even still that was a lot. He seemed to always be busy with something or another. It was a little frustrating. She knew he didnt intentionally do it, but it made her feel like she was pushed aside or sometimes even forgotten.
Nadia knew that thinking that way wasn't fair to her father. None of it was his fault and he wasn't doing anything wrong. He has only ever did what was best for their family. He was a great man. She just happened to be super self conscience. It was just something she couldn't get away from. Her own fears and feelings were always getting in the way. But she really needed to break herself of that. All that thinking did was tear the psyche down.
It was in all of the mental thunderstorm she had created that someone had run into Nadia. The blonde had to steady herself before she realized just what had happened. "Oh no, I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention." She stammered out. She had a slight flush on her cheeks from getting caught off guard. She was so embarrassed.
