Flashing: This is a form of teleportation that causes Bianca to come and go in a subtle flash of light. It can be triggered by fear which is a strength and weakness in its own right. Where it can get her out of nasty situations, it can be a tad inconvenient in a crowd if she lets fear get the better of her. Bianca is a sweet little thing. Though she's not entirely naive, she tends to only see the good in the people around her and it gets her in a lot of trouble. She is extremely selfless and will do anything for her friends. She's very helpful, even going out of her way to do so. She's loyal and generally optimistic. Highly responsible, she is usually very dependable.

On the other hand, she is extremely sensitive and has been known to take these a little too seriously. Though, her feelings can be easily hurt she is very forgiving. She's a tad disorganized when it comes to her things unless she has to be organized (i.e. work or school). After losing her family, she has become a tad bit compulsive and neurotic.

History:

Benito and Febe D’Amore – two magi – were high school sweethearts who started off as grade school friends as they grew down the street from each other in Naples, Italy. They married first thing after Febe graduated. Three years later, Bianca Rachele D’Amore was born on December 15th and Carmina when Bia turned two. Bia adored her sister and doted on her as they got older. They both were equally loved by their parents so moments of jealousy were few and far between. Bia learned her first specialty of teleportation at a young age and used it successfully for the first time when she was attacked by her neighbor’s husky at the age of ten.

They grew up in Naples, but moved to the states when Bia was twelve so she started eighth grade in Harper Valley, New York. It started off a little difficult for her and Carmina because English was their second language. Unlike Mina, Bia made fast friends, however, and adjusted well after the initial change. Bia felt horrible for her sister and tried to help her. The younger girl was an exceptional dancer, and had been taking classes in Naples before they moved so Bia convinced their parents to find her little sister a new dance school. They eventually enrolled into one in New York City.

After a few classes, Bia was ecstatic to find Mina going back to being a social butterfly. The lessons also paid off for Bia because she met her first boyfriend at the school. He was a city local and also had a sister in Mina’s class. He was only seventeen so just a year older than Bia. They hit it off immediately and began to date. After a few months later, they had their first fight and he hit her. She broke up with him despite him being drunk off his butt and not thinking clearly. She just figured that being friends was a lot better for the moment, which he agreed with. They were better as friends. She dated a few more times, her longest lasted almost a year. It ended rather suddenly and without warning.

About two months after her birthday, Mina had a dance competition. Mina won first place with her solo and they were on their way home. Bia was nervous the entire time. She had been having a recurring dream that she couldn’t make much sense of, but she knew that something bad was going to happen. That night, as they drove home, they got into a horrible wreck. Just before the collision, however, Bia ended up teleporting out of the car and into the road. She watched the car go up in flames, killing her family instantly where she was spared.

The mass loss wrecked her, but she took control of the Il Caffè Mania – the little coffee shop her parents owned in Harper Valley. She stopped talking to her boyfriend, just breaking it off with no explanation, and spent all her time keeping the shop running. A year later, their deaths still haunt her.
