THERE SHE STUMBLES, FALLING TO HER KNEESI T H I N K S H E T R I P P E D O N R E A L I T Y~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ Ryoo felt Dawson's grip tighten against her, letting her gaze slip up to Dawson. He knew her all too well. She listened to Alex speak, trying her hardest to resist the urge to allow her temper to flare out of control like it so desperately wanted too. But as she felt Dawson's arm, she allowed herself to calm down. 'He wants to be in my life... out of the blue...' She could tell that he was serious about wanting to be part of her life, wanting to help protect her and a part of her wanted to accept it, to allow him in... but she was still suspicious. He had come out of left field, and she wasn't sure weather to accept him or tell him to fuck off. "That's a little better." She lightened her gaze a bit, relaxing against Dawson as she thought about Alexander sticking around. She really didn't need protection from either of them, but the added help when she got in trouble would be nice.

Dawson knew that Ry was strong. He knew that all too well. He had seen how she handled herself and never doubted her, but there were some things he just couldn't back down from. His mind, and his heart just refused to let him, and this was one of those times. He loved Ry with all his heart, and they were already making a life for themselves, and she was making her way into the pack. Dawson honestly couldn't begin to complain about how things were going for them. Ry knew all his quirks and habits. She knew how he talked and joked around, and.. they shared secrets that Dawson knew that no matter how they trusted anyone else, it would be hard to ever trust anyone else with some of the things they'd told each other. "That is better.. but we'll see if you can live up to your word." Dawson would still not let him off so fast. It just wasn't who he was to trust so quickly. He sighed and rubbed a comforting hand down Ry's side, to let her know that he was there.
"You can stick around, but on a few conditions. You'll be in Ry's life, on her terms. If she wants you here, it's up to her. How she wants you in her life, if up to her. Do not go against anything she wishes. And don't go against this pack" Dawson ended his statement, and his steel blue eyes told Alex that he wasn't kidding. If Alex could follow his sisters wishes, and not cross the pack, then things would go off without a hitch. But as he said, it was up to Ry how he stayed in her life, and it was up to Alexander to make sure that he didn't hurt his sister, or cross the pack. That was all there was to it for Dawson.

SON, WHEN YOU GROW UP WOULD YOU BETHE SAVIOR OF THE BROKEN, THE BEATEN AND THE DAMNED Alex smiled as Dawson spoke, he could deal with being on Ryoo's terms, he could see on her face that she wasn't going to tell her to leave anytime soon, despite the fact that she still looked like she was thinking about it. If they were anything like each other, she would at least be curious about him, and that should be enough to override the distrust. Dawson on the other hand, was going to be a challenge. 'Her terms... easy enough.' Alexander relaxed more as Dawson finished speaking. He didn't plan on crossing the pack either, though he got the feeling his pack was going to be a worry of theirs. The Limerick pack he had been in charge of was well taken care of, and they weren't about to pack up and move just because he had found his little sister, he wouldn't allow it. "I have no intention of crossing the pack. And before you get it through your head that Your pack is going to have trouble from mine, they are safe and sound in Limerick and won't be leaving the county any time soon. My Beta took over for a bit, if they have any trouble he knows how to contact me." Alex watched them silently. They did look good together, but still, as much as Dawson didn't trust him, he didn't trust Dawson either. Call it a sibling thing, but he would have to get to know the man more before he could really allow anything to go on between his sister and him.

She still wondered how he did that, how he could get her to calm down with just a touch. She had known only one other person that could possibly do that, but he... he was gone.
"My Terms? Oh this should be fun. And the whole pack thing, that's probably a good thing. I doubt Issac would be happy having another pack encroaching on his territory... as a matter of fact, that might make him a wee bit pissy." Something in her eyes shifted as Dawson mentioned her terms, as if she were planning something utterly sadistic. She smiled warmly, though there was something behind it that, in all honesty, said she was going to enjoy coming up with her terms all too much.

Dawson sighed and he knew the he'd have to get the know, just as much as he'd have to get to know the kid himself. He smirked at Ry, knowing what she had to be thinking. Ry was notorious for thinking up off the wall things, but that's one reason that he loved her so much. It surprised him that he could have loved someone else like this, because it had been so long since he had. He had initially shut himself off from love, or tried to, but Ry had got him to open up again. "I won't apologize for being forward. This pack has had a lot happen to it, so the need to be on high alert.. is just something I can't help, Alexander. You being an alpha, I'm sure you understand. I am not alpha so I can't speak for Isaac, but he will want to reassured himself and I know that much." At least Dawson was willing to be somewhat civil, if Alexander was that is. He wasn't just go and start a fight here over nothing, so unless he was provoked, the least Dawson would do is give Alexander a hard stare down.
He would be willing to let Ry's brother get to know him, if it meant so much to this guy, but he wasn't going to lose Ry to anyone.. not a chance of that happening at all. He would stand his ground and not back down. "If this is going to work at all, then.. I know you'll have to get on good terms with me, and I'll have to get on good terms with you, so we might as well start here and now." He gave Ry a look that said unless he had to, he wouldn't beat her brother into oblivion. But Isaac would still have to know about this, even if the pack of Alexander's wasn't too much of an issue, he just decided to drop that subject altogether. Now it was just up to Alexander who he knew would have questions, concerns.. and would want to know what Dawson's intentions toward Ry were to make a good impression. He just hoped this went off without a hitch.. and that nothing had to happen. He wanted Ry to be happy, and he loved her, so he wanted to let her know that she could still love himself, and if her brother checked out, she could have him in her life too. "And I can assure you of one more thing. I would never do something to make Ry unhappy or to hurt her. She has proven more than once she works on her own agenda, and I love her for that." He gave a smile that said he wasn't lying to Ry, and it just showed all around he was a happy man, so he hope Alexander believed him.

SON, WHEN YOU GROW UP WOULD YOU BE THE SAVIOR OF THE BROKEN, THE BEATEN AND THE DAMNED Alex watched his little sister smile, already that michevious look scared him and he hadn't known her all that long, but still he would stick to what these two were saying. As Dawson continued to speak, he arched an eyebrow. In his opinion, a woman that looked so small and fragile should be protected at all costs, not left to her own devices, but he wouldn't argue it, yet. If the male meant what he said, and it seemed he did, it looked like they wouldn't have an issue when it came to protecting her at least. 'I'll trust him for now, but I swear if something happens to her...' Alexander cringed as Dawson continued to use his full first name, he wasn't used to it unless he had screwed up somehow, but they wouldn't know that. He could tell he was going to have to get to know both of them in order to stay in his little sister's life, but that was fine with him. "Well, at least I don't have to say it... You already know I'll beat your ass if anything happens to her. And please, Call me Alex. No one uses my full first name unless I'm in trouble." That look of Ryoo's still scared him, he wasn't quite in tune enough with her to know what she was thinking, and with that smile, it very well could have been anything.

THERE SHE STUMBLES, FALLING TO HER KNEESI T H I N K S H E T R I P P E D O N R E A L I T Y~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ • ~ As she listened to the two talk, she couldn't help but giggle. Oh the things she could go with, so many ideas crossed her mind it was almost hard to choose. She could tell her smile was making him nervous, but he very well should be. And everything that Dawson was saying was true. She was an independent fighter, and despite her lack of hand to hand training, she was damn good at it. Living alone combined with her obsession with sharp, pointy objects tended to teach you a few things if you were smart and driven enough to learn them. 'He's going to have a hell of a time...' As her mind raced to work out what kind of torture to inflict upon her brother, she gave an innocent smile. She could tell that he was thinking about her size and weather she could actually handle herself. She was more than willing to show him if he really wanted to test it. "I'd listen to him. I can handle myself. As for terms... I'll think about it...im still reather undecided."

Dawson knew this would be a tough one. Alex thought that his sister was just a girl who would be the damsel in distress if they got into trouble. He had seen Ryoo fight, had seen her spar against him. He didn't underestimate her. "She's a strong woman. And as much as I will protect her, she is capable of caring for herself, but she knows she still has me there." And he knew that Ryoo knew that. She knew that he would be there no matter what, and that he wouldn't leave her alone. He was protective of her, and he worried about her.. maybe too much, and maybe sometimes she got upset with him over it. Sometimes he couldn't help but be worried. But Ryoo also knew how to handle herself with her blades so he wasn't afraid of her handling herself on most occasions. "You and I.. Alex.. we'll have to get to know each other, I see that. Do if this is gonna work, we might as well get started so we can find some kind of common ground." He hoped they could find common ground, at least for Ryoo's sake.
"Nothing is going to happen to her. You won't have to worry about beating my ass for anything. As I said, I will love and protect her like I do this pack, and my own child. So, me hurting her is the last thing you should be worried about. I can assure you of that." And Dawson really hoped that the guy would listen to him and know that what he was saying was the gods honest truth. Ry could first off, take care of herself, though he would always be there fighting beside her, and Ry never questioned him on that. He never questioned that Ry would be by his side either. He got worried sometimes, but he never doubted her loyalty to him or the pack. He just hoped that things with Alex would work out, because he wanted Ry to be happy, but he didn't want something to come in and hurt her either, so he would be watching Alex as well.. even as he was watching him now.

SON, WHEN YOU GROW UP WOULD YOU BE THE SAVIOR OF THE BROKEN, THE BEATEN AND THE DAMNED Alex nodded as he listened to the two, knowing that, at least for the moment, he already had some sort of common ground with the guy. His sister was the man's world, it seemed, and after a year or two of looking for her, no doubt she would be a part of his as well. The difference being, he didn't like the fact that she had been given time to learn how to defend herself more than any young woman should. It was clear she was strong willed, and from the looks of her, she was good at throwing things. Though not many people would see it, he could pick out the slight definition in her arms that came from training with throwing knives... or baseballs. 'He's right... at least in one aspect. She won't be letting him go, nor will he be letting her go, may as well get to know them.' Though still, a part of him worried about her terms.... Not knowing their mother, or anything about that side of the family except what he had learned from their father, he knew at least a small part of the young woman would come up with some hellacious task that no ordinary person could complete, and yet he was oddly okay with that. He would prove himself in time, just as he had proved himself to his Father's pack when he had stepped up to gain control. "Common ground we will work on, most definitely, considering i'm not leaving anytime soon. And certainly not without a fight." Alex finally let himself relax a bit, and smile. That was something himself and Ryoo indeed shared, their mother's bright, bubbly smile that seemed as if it could light up the world.

Ryoo listened to the two men talk, rolling her eyes lightly. They would work it out if Xander wanted to stay in her life, but that was the least of her worries at the moment. She hated to be interrupted, especially when working on a new routine. Call it her teacher instincts, but they weren't here to learn, and she needed to get this done. 'That's fine, let them get to know each other... Alex will learn in time.' She waited silently for them to finish, taking a step away from Dawson so she was facing both of them. Her features had changed dramatically. She had gone from strong and independent, to giving both of them a look that both chided them and kept their attention. "Now that our happy family reunion is over... You two have two choices. You can both sit back on that log and watch, quietly... Or you can go to the Blue moon and be as rowdy as you want while getting to know each other. Either way, I was interrupted, and this is a new routine, so if i screw up in front of hundreds of people, I'm beating both of your asses." Ryoo smiled sweetly as she finished speaking, her words dripping like honey as the implication hung in the air. Hopefully, she had made it perfectly clear that she wasn't going to allow any more interruptions.

Dawson knew that the guy wasn't leaving without a fight, and Dawson didn't expect anything different. As much as this would slightly put him on edge.. he knew that this was Ry's brother. He'd do any damn thing he could to keep his own family alive. That family being not only his daughter, but Isaac who was like his adopted brother, because he didn't actually have a real brother or sister. And now, Ry was part of that family too, and Dawson would do anything to ensure that nothing jeopardized that. Including himself being a hardheaded asshole. Give Alex the benefit of the doubt, his mind said. He owed the guy that much. He apparently hadn't seen his sister in years.. and to come upon her with some strange guy, well Dawson would be shocked too. He just hoped Alex wouldn't try to push him from the picture later. He didn't think Ry would stand for that though. "Look man, I get ya okay? It's shocking, just to come back and find your long lost sister all of a sudden. I don't mean to be so harsh. I'd be the same way.. I'd be cautious, but I care for her." And that was the gods honest truth. He did care for her.
And then there was Ry. He turned her attention back to her after she spoke.. and she looked slightly annoyed. He knew how much she hated her practice to be interrupted and he really didn't feel like being away from her on this day, so he wouldn't argue with her, and he wouldn't bother with going somewhere else. "I ain't going anywhere Ry. And sorry for interrupting your practice, but I'd still like to watch. I don't know about your brother here." He looked at Alex and sat down on a log, then sighed. He knew her brother wasn't going anywhere any time soon, so it may be a good thing if they could get on some good ground. "I ain't gonna fight you Alex, alright? I'm done fighting with people, but I do love her." He said and then settled into watch her keep practicing. He could only hope he could find some kind of common ground with Alex, at least for Ry's sake, and Alex didn't really seem like a bad guy after all.

SON, WHEN YOU GROW UP WOULD YOU BE THE SAVIOR OF THE BROKEN, THE BEATEN AND THE DAMNED Alex watched as his little sister turned on both of them. She had left the politeness behind as she told them how it was going to go. It was clear the young wolf didn't like being interrupted, though her tactics were a bit rough. Dawson hadn't really been the one to interrupt her and yet, she seemed a tad bit upset with him too. He wasn't sure how to take it, so he sat down next to Dawson and let the man talk. 'Zero to sixty in three point five... Should be fun.' Alex allowed her to go back to her dancing, though he wasn't thrilled about the fact that she had made a career out of moving like that, though he was glad that it wasn't anything more risque. He had to admit, something about the way she moved was beautiful, almost artistic. It was clear that she cared a lot about what she was doing. "I don't want to fight you either man. Just take care of her, and know that i'm watching." Alex settled in then, relaxing more as she danced, he had to admit, she had a mesmerizing quality about her when she moved.

Ryoo leaned up and kissed Dawson lightly. She hadn't meant to sound so harsh, especially not toward him, but the shock of having a brother had faded and now, she really did need to get back to her routine. She smiled at Dawson, turned, and pushed the play button on her MP3 dock. Her music started again, and once again she was lost, her body seeming to move gracefully on its own. 'Perhaps I did come off a bit harsh...' She let her body do the talking, her hips swaying and rolling with the music as she danced, feeling them watch her, but not consciously aware of it. She had learned early on to get over being watched, it was going to happen, wheither she was on stage or not, so it no longer effected her. 'Let them sort it out... Dawson knows i'm not really angry.. I hope..' Finally, she stopped thinking, allowing her mind to go blank as she went through the next half of the routine. She had choreographed it herself, but still... some of the movements seemed foreign, new to the way she naturally danced and she seriously hoped it didn't show.

Dawson sighed slightly as he tried to process everything that was going on himself. He really didn't know what was going on exactly. All he knew is that Ry had a brother now and he didn't want to come between Alex and her. He loved Ry and he loved his child and would protect them the best that he could, if it were possible at all, he would go to the ends of the earth and back for them and that was a promise he intended to keep if it was possible. He wouldn't let anything happen to Ry. He sighed as Ry kissed him and smiled at her. He could at least agree on one thing with Alex and that was what he figured Alex must be thinking. Ry was smart, and she was tough and knew how to handle herself. He leaned over to Alex now. "If it's any consolation, I don't think you have to worry about keeping me in line. I have learned that she knows what she's doing when it comes to men. And I know a thing o two when it comes to women, so we know how to take care of each other." That was true.
He was quiet now though, as he watched her dance. He didn't know what Alex was thinking at the moment. He also knew that Ry wasn't really all that angry at him or Alex, but that she wanted her time to practice. He was happy that she found something she was passionate about and.. somehow managed to make a career out of it. Dawson himself, had a passion for music, but he didn't ever think he'd be able to make a career out of it. He had his pack, his child, and Ry who was both his love, and a pack member to protect and he couldn't think of not being around them. His blue eyes watched her dance and twirl, and he looked back at Alex. "That's why I love her so damn much, man. She's passionate.. she loves what she does. I just stand back and watch her and support her." He smirked and laughed. Maybe him and Alex wouldn't have that bad a time at getting to know each other after all, or so Dawson hoped. He wanted to give the guy a chance, at least for Ry's sake.

SON, WHEN YOU GROW UP WOULD YOU BE THE SAVIOR OF THE BROKEN, THE BEATEN AND THE DAMNED Alexander heard Dawson speak and allowed him to smile. From what he had seen, she was a very independent woman, and hardly one to be trifled with. He was right, of course, she did seem passionate, not only about Dawson, but about her dancing as well. He took note of the concentration she exuded as she moved, despite the fact that her body seemed to know what she was doing, even if she wasn't completely confident about the movements herself. 'Something tells me I don't want to ask about how he's got experience with women, but Ryoo is a bit of a spitfire.' Passionate, independent, strong willed and stubborn. These were the things that came to mind as he watched his little sister dance. He wasn't sure what to think of Dawson just yet, but he had made it clear he wasn't going anywhere, so he may as well make the best of it and become friends with the man, he didn't want anything to come between himself and Ryoo. "So long as she's taken care of... That's all our father and I ever really wanted. Though, that stubbornness she must have gotten from our Mother, because I know our Father wasn't that bad." He was kidding of course, their father was possibly the single most stubborn male Alex had met to date, but he didn't mind it. He was glad to see she wasn't in real need, not like some of the females he had met, relying on men and women alike, allowing others to walk all over them for a false sense of protection. With her attitude, he didn't see that ever happening to Ryoo and that made him relieved.
