HISTORY: Lorna’s birth should have been happy event. Her vampire father called in Kaia Rion to help and act as midwife to his human wife. Where Lorna came into the world beautiful and healthy, her mother left the world. This hit Lorna’s father hard and he lost it. He grabbed his poor infant daughter and tried to kill the newborn. Kaia had jumped in and stopped him. After saving the baby, she took her home to Vas and decided to keep her as her own.
Named Lorna Eris-Jade, Lorna grew up never knowing of that day and believing her parents were really her parents. She has no clue about the truth and no real suspicion about it. They never gave her any reason to doubt, and positively doted on her. Because of her accelerated aging, she has lived something of sheltered life, normally kept inside. When she was about thirteen in appearance, she snuck out for the first time. Met a group of kids that seemed to be about her age and older and went with them to one of the kid’s ranch home. She got to ride a horse for the first time.
It had also been the only time. She hadn’t told Kaia or Vas about leaving and when they found her gone, they went looking for her. When they found her, they spooked the horse she was on. It bucked and she fell off. She landed oddly on the ground and got cut up pretty bad on the side of the neck. They took her home, not very happy with her and cleaned her up. She now has a scar there. They haven’t really let her out since then but she gotten into a few hobbies that occupy her time.
