Just put up a middle finger to the sky Let them know we’re still rock ‘n roll With a cigarette in hand and Led Zeppelin playing on the radio, Roxy was on her way to the mountains where she would shift for the full moon. It wasn't the first time Roxy has shifted in the area as she had already been in Vegas for a few months now but she still felt nervous shifting in the open area. The only downside for a were to living in the city of sin was that there was no wooded area to safely, and in Roxy's case comfortable shift in. Instead there was only miles of desert and the humid air that almost sucked the breath out of you it was so humid. Still Roxy found that the mountains were better than shifting in the open desert and with the help of a friend when she first arrived she made her way down a winding dirty road towards a spot that was perfect for what she needed.
Just as the sun was going down Roxy pulled up to a isolated tree and parked her old, shitty car underneath. As she climbed out of the car she looked around for Artemus as she was expecting him here but saw no one and figured she was the first to arrive. Roxy knew she didn't have long until the moon took over the sky and without hesitation walked to the trunk of her car and opened it up before stripping the clothes off her body and threw them into the trunk. Roxy had no problem being naked in front of people, she was proud of her body. What she wasn't comfortable with however was shifting in front of strangers. It was already stressful enough for her during the shift, though the pain she often enjoyed, so having another were watch and shift beside her made her feel uneasy. When the sun had set and still she saw no sign of him she slammed her trunk door and proceeded towards the tree where she shifted. It wasn't long after that that she could feel her body temperature rising and her body shaking, signaling the beginning of her transformation. With a cringe and short scream she dropped to her knee's and began the change from a blonde woman to a blonde wolf. template by eliza @ sp

”That would be best. It won’t take long to mobilize the forces. Night before the next full moon?”
Complete ignoring her attitude in her voice with the answer she gave him. He crossed his arms and rubbed his chin to help himself think, it was habit of his. Tori could gather her men so quickly for such a campaign. It seemed she hasn't waged a full scale war yet, it takes a lot more than a night to take over the entire southern half of Nevada. Still, his men will battle in the south, so the vampires will be stuck in between the two wolf armies, basically they won't stand a chance unless they call outside help which they wouldn't get the chance. Better yet Artemus wouldn't even be suspected of such an act, the other alphas would be and so he would later take control himself.
They would have to make the take over fast, he planned the the whole campaign would have to last three weeks outside that time period, it would mean the vampires received help of something. If he had learned anything about new age vampires, most of them were incredibly cocky and didn't care enough about their heritage or war until they are hit by it. All they really care about his clubbing and having their next tasty treat. They were completely undisciplined and weak. Of course that was the majority of the new age vampires, not all. The same goes to the new age wolves, except they crave on their primal instincts.
"For your wolves, yes. We will need to do so. I personally will not take the battlefield for it might cause confusion among the ranks. Thought Ramidon and Anobi, err....Aiden will take the field will you. Will you mind Aiden?"
From the bushes, came Aiden and his men, who all bowed and turned away keeping their eyes away from the two alphas. Aiden, was much formal than he used to be. Lessons taught by the elder twin, Ramidon, the two was of the same age, but yet of different world. It seemed that he was there for quite sometime, already hearing the plans of this currently small scale battle for Tori? Back to Artemus' thoughts, a few outcomes can happen if Artemus took the field with Tori by her side. The two would be considered mates by the lower wolves, only to find out Tori is still with the blood sucker causing unneeded headache. Or with his ancient smell some might charge at him thinking he wants to take her down her spot, he didn't wish to kill her little clan.
He needed more influence in Vegas and if he did take out the vampires, it will cause an uproar raising morale to destroy their enemies, whatever could happen, he didn't want it to. Aiden wasn't an alpha nor was Ramidon, well as far as he knew. Aiden sent a telepathic message to his brother of Artemus' plan. Ramidon returned the message with many foul words, declining such a plan. And how he would never go on the battlefield with the impulsive she-wolf Tori. After cooling down, Ramidon sent a message that he will not be able to arrive for several months due to keeping the armies in Brazil settled. "As you say, Milord. But Remi is....Caught up with some matters. He will not arrive for another few months."
Aiden was confused, Artemus had just arrived, had many places to go to, own a multi-billion organization in the day world. And yet he was here? It was different he didn't know where Artemus returned from nor was he going to ask. But the main point was Artemus was back and return to a place like this? And already wanted war? And working with a lower rank wolf? Why? None of this made sense to him. But being the loyal wolf that he was, he wouldn't ever question his Lord. So he remained silent until spoken to. Artemus shook his head at the thought of Ramidon not being able to show up and help. Although Aiden was more than a match for most wolves and the fastest in the entire clan. For now he had other plans with another female wolf that he found much more interesting.
He now own several casinos, had a base for a wolf pack, was planning for a future war and now a little wolf date. She had been on his mind since he met her back at the club that she worked at. Artemus drove his bike to ensure they would have private time so when they change they can play as pups did. As he reached the destination he saw her change into a blonde wolf, a shame he wanted to give her a kiss before they changed. But seemed like he was going to have to wait. He stopped his bike and got off and had a running start taking off his helmet and clothes. He began to shift to his wolf state and went into his more man than wolf state and stood at 12 feet tall huge with white fur. It was like she was a Pomeranian to a rot in size. Went down to all fours and gave her a sniff before rubbing his head on hers playfully. He then gave her a playful push for her to lead the way.

Just put up a middle finger to the sky Let them know we’re still rock ‘n roll Though the transformation was still difficult and very painful for the young wolf it didn't last as long as it had during her first year. After shifting her body around on the dirt floor as her bones cracked out of alignment to create a whole new figure. Her body was covered in dirt, and then later her fur, as she wiggled around in pain. Once the transformation was done, after almost an hour the once beautiful body of a woman now lay the body of a petite, but still beautiful wolf. She laid there for a minute as she started to regain control over her body again, her eyes closed. Her golden eyes snapped open upon hearing the sound of a motorcycle approach and at first her instincts told her it was an intruder. Her head popped up and she sat up with her paws flat on the ground as well as her stomach. As the vehicle approached she caught a familiar scent in the air and now knew it was only Artemus.
Roxy was a little upset by his late arrival but brushed it off as she didn't want him to be around while she shifted anyways. She was a little surprised he had not already shifted and was still in his human form, only to be corrected as he hopped off of his bike, began to strip and broke out into a run, shifting into something she had never expected to see right before her eyes. With a swift motion to her feet she put her guard up as he charged for her. His size was massive, bigger than Roxy had ever seen before. Before this she had never thought to ask him about his age or how he turned but now her mind changed as now she didn't need to bother asking, his quick transformation and large size was an good enough answer.
Though his intentions were not violent his quick appearance as well as his quickened paced towards her direction made her go into defense mode. Her body lowly hovered over the dirt floor, her paws wide and in a ready position to run if needed, her eyes remained stationary on him and her other senses vigilant. If it wasn't for the fact she knew who he was the small wolf would have followed her instincts to run after seeing such a large opponent. She almost did run but stopped when he reached her, dropped onto all fours and nudged her with his nose. She stood there in a moment of shock and awe, unable to move but finally pulled herself out of it when the smell of fresh meat hit her nostrils. Her attention moved towards the direction of the scent but it was hard to pinpoint due to the wind that blew in multiple directions. She turned around and began walking towards the scent, recognizing it as deer. The closer they got the hungrier she became and didn't stop until they came across a coyote eating it's fresh meal. template by eliza @ sp

The shift was the most painful thing he had experienced. No pain could compare to the way his bones broke and shattered only to reform and shape him into a wolf. It had been horrifying, a nightmare come to life, and he had not been able to see what was happening to him the whole time. Artemus could only assume that it was grotesque and he had looked like something out of a horror movie before falling onto four feet. Would the pain ever cease? The answer was, eventually, for the strong at least. He had witness the pain of transformation, though a rarity, drive "newborns" to the brink of insanity. Even now as he walked beside the female wolf, Artemus walked a little slower than usual, easily telling that she was still new to this. Her body may have still been aching in places where she had been changed. Though he couldn't truly tell if that was true or not, in his wolf state he was a bit "nicer" to newborn wolves, so instead of racing off to smell of the deer, he kept to the pup's side.
The Greek did know why there was a growl that rippled past his lips and what it meant to Roxanne. To him it was a commanding threat, an animalistic sound that was meant to send a verbal warning to whatever had crossed his path. In this case, it was the coyote, when the small animal heard his growl. It's head popped up and ran not even taking the time to look back at where the noise had come from. Artemus, leaned down to the carass and gave it a sniff then shook his head with disgust. Food wasn't a problem, he had just been, he wanted a more thrilling hunt and a much tastier meal. Since the old wolf had breathe life for centuries, he developed a sort of sweet tooth when it came to his more animal side. There was just one thing that could truly quench his thirst. A deer or caribou can end his hunger for a little while, sure that goes with out saying. A bear or another predator can give a great chase but provides a mediocre rating in taste. There was only two beasts that can give a thrill in the game of cat and mouse as well as give a delectable taste in his mouth either cooked or raw. That was the taste of human and vampires. Following her was easy, since he had her scent, but containing his growing hunger was not.
Though that wasn't the only thing he could smell and hear. There were people here for produce, the music that played, and he was sure that the square probably had a few more places to eat from the smell of it. If only he could see it all;Artemus bet it was something worth eating. He took a moment to distinguish smells until he locked on to a vampire, the poor thing. What was a vampire doing out this far from the city? The answer was now being eaten. The large wolf steadily walked by the femme and playfully and lightly brushed her side to signal her to keep on moving, the time for the actual hunt was now. He didn't know whether or not the femme was actually able to hunt or not. For all he knew in her wolf form all she could handle was scare off other animals for an east meal. As a teacher or rather as an alpha he was going to take the lead now. He looked back at her staring at her, eye to eye. Telling her that she would have to keep up or fall behind then turned away moving ahead. His steady movement went from a slow walk to a light jog to running but not at his full speed to insure that she wouldn't fall behind. He wondered if she picked up the smell of their next target as well and would she be ready?

Just put up a middle finger to the sky Let them know we’re still rock ‘n roll Roxanna noticed the coyote take note of their presence and due to millions of years of evolution the coyote's instincts for survival kicked in, knowing it was no match to the two wolves that approached and quickly fled. If Roxy could chuckle she would, instead she grunted in amusement. Her amusement faded however when the look upon his face hinted towards disgust and who could blame him. The carcass had most likely already been dead for atleast half an hour and the smell was already beginning to take hold of the immediate area surrounding it. One would find this too disgusting to approach but in most cases to Roxy it was an easy meal. She didn't prefer to live this way but for most of her life as a wolf she was alone and had to learn the ropes all on her own. During the times she ran with the pack in New York her lifestyle was a bit more luxurious but now she was alone once again and old habits died hard.
Roxy did enjoy the thrill of the hunt as well, though while in New York it was a bit harder to do so without running into a car or couple passing by. In Las Vegas it was different. She was still trying to get used to the terrain so she made sure not to venture off too far which didn't give her much of a chance to find something to kill but when she did she was a wolf in heaven. Just one look at Artemus and she could tell he felt the same. Then again, being such a size it would be impossible for anything to escape his grip. Once the two clearly decided they didn't want the carcass they moved on. Roxy was still becoming adjusted in her wolf form as well as having someone by her side for the night so she was unaware of the presence of others close by. Her gaze grew into the habit of looking over at him, his large size still taking her by surprise every time she looked over but it didn't scare her. In a way it comforted the petite wolf. She felt safe as well as content with him by her side and for the first time in a while she wasn't afraid of the change back.
She followed him contently, quickening her pace every time he lightly bumped into her. After a few minutes of walking she began to finally let loose and that was when she caught the voices followed by the scent, the familiar smell of vampires triggering a low growl deep within her throat. Her pace slowed as she tried to pinpoint to origin of the voices but after looking over at Artemus she could already tell he was way ahead of her. She wasn't sure of his true intentions until he began to break out into a full run. Roxy wasn't completely sure she was up for whatever he had in mind, knowing most likely it wasn't anything good, but she didn't want to fall behind either so as best as she could she picked up her pace and tried to follow him. Uncertainty began to plague her mind as well as doubt. Roxy had hunted before, mostly with animals and occasionally a human or two but she wasn't a murderer. The thrill off of hunting and killing a wild animal always excited Roxy even before she was bitten but the thought of doing so with a person terrified her. The scent however was anything but human, so did it matter? Roxy was never a fan of vampires but she had never killed one before either. Whether she was down for it didn't seem to matter however as the look of a killer took residence on her friend's furry face and she figured it was either join him or be left in the dust.
Sorry it's meh. template by eliza @ sp
