HISTORY: Persephone was born on August 13, 1835 in Sparta, Greece. Her mother died during childbirth, causing her father to become extremely attached to her. She lived her first several years sheltered in their home before her father moved her to the city of Athens where he grew up. He continued to shelter her as she grew up, only allowing her contact with those in the family and not allowing her outside. By the time she was 16, she felt completely smothered, but her father would only guilt her into not leaving him. Unfortunately, her father never thought of how she would survive if he got sick or died, which is exactly what happened. She was 19 when he died and she had no idea how to fend for herself. No one in te family would take her in, and she found herself living on the streets.
She was half dead and starving when Larissa found her. Showing the poor girl some mercy, she changed her an took Seph under her wing as her progeny, showing her how to survive and take care of herself. She was extremely happy with the way things were going until the day her sire disappeared without a trace. She could feel her, almost as if she was right there with her, and she spent several years chasing after her. Everytime she would get close, Larissa would be gone again. What she didnt know at the time was that her sire was trying to teach her to be independent in case the day came that she would no longer be there, a lesson her father should have taught her.
The day did come. Seph was so close to finding her when the connection was gone. It was like a part of her had been ripped away. She never came across the woman's body, and she spent a long time wandering around aimlessly, trying to find someone to fill the void. This was when she came across Patrick and was immediately entranced by him. He was tall and good looking, and she felt a strong pull towards him. Feeling like this was the answer to the void in her soul, she talked him into the change. What she did not expect was the anguish and bloodshed that followed. Had she been like this when she turned? It seemed like an event that happened so long ago that she couldn't really remember. Once she caught up with him, she was able to stop him and change his attitude towards the situation. It occurred to her that maybe a change was needed, and she talked him into traveling to America. Things slowly became better, and now she frequents the bar he works at, just to keep an eyes on him. Or so she tells herself..
