Logan James Miller
It was about that time. He could not take another minute of it. The heat was spreading throughout his body, his heart rate increased, fists closed tightly, his jaw clenched. His entire body began to shake, he couldn't let this happen, not again. Logan closed his eyes tightly, trying to think of something, anything pleasant to calm himself. Nothing. Absolutely nothing came to mind. He tried to control his breathing, slow deep breaths. Nothing was helping.
Logan ripped off his t-shirt, and grabbed his blue baseball cap. He proceeded out of his apartment building and made his way down the streets of Harper Valley. He continued to pick up speed as his walk became a jog, and his jog became a run. He was breathing heavily and found his way to the local park. He continued his fast pace down the paths weaving in and out of people. It was a cold winter day, and despite the temperature it hadn't even phased him. He clenched his teeth tightly, as he felt the sweat dripping down his back. The sun was shinning brightly above him, following his every move. Not a single cloud in the sky. All of the tree had long lost their leaves, with the exception of a small few. A brisk breeze hit him, sending a shiver throughout his body, it was cold out, but Logan didn't care. He needed a distraction, and so far, this was not doing a good job.
It has only been a few days since he moved here, and he already had an outburst, and over what? Turns out nothing. Ava told him it would be better if he was out of the city, less things to remind him of his childhood. But even here, he can't escape. Logan slowed his pace down to a slow jog, he veered off the path and made his way to a tree. He sat down under it, leaning his back against the trunk. He placed his face in his hands and tried to forget, and erase all those years from his mind. You said this would be better, that this would help. The empty response was disheartening.
