This always happened to Grace. No matter what she always managed to get herself into situations she didn't like. This situation, though, was something she really didn't want to be in.
Grace was a cheer leader. Staying in shape came with that. So, Grace went on runs all the time, and she rarely ever got lost. Tonight was different. Grace's blond hair bounced in it's ponytail as she ran through the woods, lost in the music that played from her iPod. It was hard to really tell that time was even moving because of the shade the trees cast in the forest. It wasn't until she stopped in a clearing and actually looked up at the sky that she realized it was getting late. Grace frowned, turning to go back down the path she thought she was on to go home. She stopped, her face falling. There was no path. Grace reached up and pulled one of the headphones from her ear and looked around some more, trying to find any signs of a worn path. There was nothing. A defeated sigh left her lips. Why me? she thought, feeling a bit of panic swell up in her throat. Grace took a deep breath. Ok. Calm down, and just... Start walking.
The blond haired high school senior began to make her way back in the direction she just came from. She felt like she couldn't be that far from the path she had originally been on. There's no way she could have strayed that far. At least she hoped. At this point Grace had taken out her headphones and was paying as much attention as she could to her surroundings. She glanced up through the trees, seeing how much darker it had gotten since she last looked. And much darker it had gotten. A small shiver ran through her body. If she didn't get out of here before dark she didn't know what she'd do. Grace was terrified of the dark. She hated it. She finally stopped walking after about twenty minutes. She could hardly see in front of her anymore. A small noise left her mouth and she just sat down, wrapping her arms around her knees, burying her face. You'll be ok... you'll be ok...

Watch out for the Bite Dusty was walking back from visiting some places in Harper Valley to see if he could drum up some more customers for his pub, not that his little country pub was quiet it actually go quiet busy. As he was walking back towards his pub that is when he looked up into the sky and noticed it was getting darker, this werewolf then knew the quickest way for him to get back to The Blue Moon pub was to take a shortcut through the forest.
As he entered the forest even though there was a sign post saying where the path was and which way to go, this landlord on the other hand knew the forest like the back of his hand. While he wandered a bit further into the forest that is when he caught a scent of something well now they shouldn’t be out here that late now… Let’s go and see what is happening. That is when he saw a beautiful young lady sitting down on the forest floor, Dusty would have hopped that since he had stepped on some twigs and they cracked underneath is feet would of gave her enough warning that he was coming over.
Hey there madam, I’m sorry to disturb you, I would just like to know are you okay? Or would you like some help getting out of the forest? his voice was calm and solider like and he was being very polite towards the young lady. This werewolf was standing up straight and tall just like how he had been trained to do, while waiting for a reply from someone.

Hears twigs snapping in the distance. Trying to ignore them the best she can. Doesn't want to know what is approaching her at all. Really doesn't. Hey there madam, I’m sorry to disturb you, I would just like to know are you okay? Or would you like some help getting out of the forest? Tense. Every muscle in her body tightened, but she slowly lifts her head to look at the owner of the voice. Looks up at the face of a rather handsome man. Shoots to her feet, stumbling backwards before catching her balance. Face red and very shaky. Uh. I-I'm fine. Yeah. Getting out of here would be great... she replied, looking at him carefully. Keeping her distance though. Grace's dad did a good job of making her paranoid when it was dark out. She studied him carefully. He was a good looking guy. Tall, dark hair, beautiful eyes, and the way he stood and faced her radiated respect.
Grace smiled softly at him, feeling a bit safer with someone else around. Thank you for stopping and offering to help me. It is awfully kind of you. she paused for a moment. I'm Grace Andrews. A lot of people knew the last name very well. Grace was a descendant of one of the founding families of Harper Valley. They were important, seeing as how there are only five families that founded it, and each family still had records and journals and artifacts from their ancestors. It was actually interesting, even to someone who wasn't into that kind of thing. The only thing that really threw Grace off with the whole history thing, is the fact that most of it was about hunting and keeping control of supernaturals, aka Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Warlocks, and other types of creatures. She didn't believe in any of it, and had no desire to really hunt for reasons to believe.

Watch out for the Bite
This former solider knew how to act around other people and he also knew by getting her scent that was only a human, but this werewolf was not going to saying any of that. At least she actually got up, but this is a very far place to be away from the path.Even though it was very dark and still getting darker Dusty knew that the forest was one of the worst places to be, even if you knew your way around the area. That is good that you are okay madam. his voice was calm and a bit solider like, because he knew very well that the forest was dangerous place to be.
Once he had heard what this beautiful young lady was called, he let a smile cross his face, because he knew it was a lovely name. Hearing her last name though that got him a little bit more curious because he had heard the name before and knew a bit about them. It is my pleasure to meet you Grace. It is no problem at all helping you. You are welcome to call me Dusty. If you don’t mind me saying your last name is very interesting. Standing patiently, waiting to see what was going to be happening since he had introduced himself to her. Do not tell her you’re a werewolf yet, Dusty you have just meet her. There is no need for her to know about that. Just get home, to The Blue Moon.
It was not easy to see that Dusty was a bit curious to what was going on around him, but this werewolf was also very cautious about who he has to trust and what to tell, because he knew that he has to keep what he is a secret. Now that is a good one to be cautious of other around you. Dusty was just standing nice and calm trying not to scare the young lady. If you don’t mind me asking Grace, how on earth did you get this far off the trail?

I'll be the one if you want meto.♥ Anywhere I would have followed you. Say something I'm giving up on you.
Grace come here, please. the fourteen year old's father called from the other room. Young Grace Andrews came around the corner and into her father's library. It was the first time she'd ever been in that room. Her wide blue eyes looked around the room. There were so many old books on the shelves and so many different artifacts in places where books weren't. Grace can you sit for me please? Grace was snapped back into reality by her father's voice. She moved in front of one of the red vinyl chairs and sat down, looking at her dad with confusion masked on her face. Grace... I need you to take the question I am about to ask you with the utmost maturity. This could, in the future, protect you. Her father sighed, running a hand through his greying hair. Do you believe in fairy tales? he asked, looking her dead in the eye.
Grace snapped back out of the memory, blinking a few times before focusing in on the man before her. That is good that you are okay, madam. A soft smile lifted her lips. He had a very old-fashioned way of speaking. It definitely caught her attention. The only time she really heard people talk like that was in movies based in the Victorian times. Back when the Founding Families established Harper Valley. She didn't really think too much of it, though. It could have just been the way he was raised. Grace picked up on the accent he had, so it made sense. He obviously wasn't born in the United States. It is my pleasure to meet you, Grace. It is no problem at all helping you. You are welcome to call me Dusty. If you don't mind me saying, your last name is very interesting.
This man knew. He knew about the Harper Valley history. Maybe he didn't know everything that supposedly the families did as a council, but he knew. Grace let a smile spread back across her lips, even though her nerves were on edge at the moment. Her curiosity was beating them out. What did he know? So you've done your homework about the Founding Families a bit, I'm assuming? she said, her voice a bit flirty. Where that came from, she had no idea. You could tell she hardly ever spoke to anyone as such, because a soft blush lit up her cheeks. But thank you. Grace's eyes lifted back up towards the sky, her brows furrowing with worry. The soft glow of the Waning Moon reflected in her jewel-like eyes. It would be a Full Moon in the next couple nights. During a Full Moon things always got strange around Harper Valley. No one was out when dark fell, and her father was adamant about her staying inside.
If you don't mind me asking, Grace, how on Earth did you get this far off the path? her rescuer, Dusty, questioned. Grace couldn't help but let an embarrassed laugh leave her lips. I guess that's what happens when you're really not paying any attention whatsoever to where you're going... She lifted her eyes to his, a shy look on her face. She was very good at making a fool of herself in front of people. No matter what the circumstance was. If you want, you can just point me in the direction of town so you don't have to walk all the way back. I think I should be okay doing that. she said with a soft smile. Watch out for the Bite
Even though Dusty knew it was very dangerous at this time of night. This werewolf knew he sometimes spoke from these old days which humans sometimes called old movie accents. This lad really could not help being nice and helpful because it was drummed into him to be nice, when every he could see that someone might need some help. Now come on Dusty, let’s keep it together and not give her any way of knowing, what you really are.
Since it was in the darkest part of the forest, it still was not easy to see what Dusty was wearing. Dusty was wearing a shirt that was unbuttoned and his dogs tags hanging down around his neck where resting on his chest, while he was wearing faded denim jeans, but once you had see what he was wearing it was almost easier to see that it was not the typical clothes for this kind of night. I should have put my jacket on…nah… I would have been well to warm for that.
Even though he had slightly moved from his standing still position as he had began to walk back towards the main trail, but as soon as her words came towards him he had stopped and turned around. Nope… I haven’t done any work at all, just that I am old and have heard lots of things around this town He then leaned against the tree he was standing next to. Just a little bit. I like to know the background of the place I’m living in. his voice was soft and calm even though Dusty knew had had not told all of the truth . He then let a smile appear on his face when her heard that her lyrics towards him. Don’t do it, you can’t, you know what she is but she doesn’t know what you are. Plus you have just met her, so just be careful Dusty.
Blue eyes turned to look back towards where the beautiful young lady Grace was. Even though he was still being mature he could really not help but let a little laugh escape his mouth. Well, I guess you should be paying more attention when you are around these parts. after he had spoken that towards her, he then quiet while he thought about how he knew how really dangerous the forest was. Dusty was not taking about the normal wild animals he was talking about the supernatural ones, but this werewolf knew he could not let slip that he was not human.
It is okay madam, I’m sure you do know the way back, but it is well to dark for you to be out here, this far from the main trail. Plus my pub is not that far away from here.

I'll be the one if you want meto.♥ Anywhere I would have followed you. Say something I'm giving up on you.
Grace tried to make out what this man looked like in the dark. She couldn't see all that well, so all she could really tell was that he was tall, and his hair was short but slightly spiked on top of his head. Something told her that he had a secret. He was different. Something was different. She couldn't tell what it was, or was even anywhere near being able to put her finger on it. A breeze passed through the trees, causing the branches to move together, forming a low groan. It was spooky, and goosebumps ran along Grace's arms and her bare legs. She really hadn't expected to stop running until she got home, so at the moment, shorts were an incredibly bad idea. Her long, golden legs were exposed to the twenty degree weather, causing her entire body to shiver slightly. She tucked a loose strand of hair back behind her ear, raising her blue eyes back to Dusty.
Just a little bit. I like to know the background of the place I'm living in. he said in response to her homework question. A soft laugh left her lips, a smile widening them, revealing her near perfect teeth. According to society, Grace was considered to be the Barbie of young girls. Long, white-gold hair, stunning blue eyes, naturally golden tan skin, a lengthy frame, and an athletic body. Grace didn't ever let her beauty go to her head. She was a kind girl with a huge heart. She loved helping people and doing good for the community. It made her feel good, to help people. Sometimes people took advantage of how helpful she was, and would ask for favors just so they didn't have to do the work. It happened that way though, when you had a heart of gold.
She looked up at him when he laughed. The sound of him laughing made her heart jump a bit. Something was definitely different about him. Well, I guess you should be paying more attention when you are around these parts. Grace bit her lip and laughing, slightly embarrassed. I know... I know. Grace knew she really shouldn't be out here at night. It was dangerous, but she didn't know exactly why. The only explanation she ever got was wild animals. Never anything different. Grace wouldn't believe anyone if they tried to tell her different, either. She didn't want to believe in it, and to ever even consider it, she'd need some proof the Supernatural existence. It is okay madam, I’m sure you do know the way back, but it is well to dark for you to be out here, this far from the main trail. Plus my pub is not that far away from here. Grace tilted her head. Pub? The only pub that she knew of out here was the Blue Moon Pub. Her brows rose. You own the Blue Moon? she asked, kind of surprised. That would explain why he's out here in the woods. Watch out for the Bite Hearing the owls in the distance really help this werewolf to locate where his pub was located, but in one way it was lucky because he really did not need them he knew where his pub was located. That when he felt the gentle breeze cross in the forest, even though it sounded like a groan, he was not at all that bother, because he knew that if it really was a groan the animal would have been in sight by now. Luckily his blue eyes could see very well in the darkness of the forest, despite being in the clearing. It was still dark, the atmosphere was getting to where it would be very easy to tell that the full moon was due in a few days.
Oh great. Full Moon time once again, Not to self remove glass from top of the bar, put chairs out of the way. this werewolf was not surprised that some people did not know about who owned The Blue Moon Pub, but he actually in one way liked to keep it that way, Dusty was very happy letting rumours and whispers of who owned the pub spread around the place. I hope nobody asked why the pub is closed on full moon. I could say it is to give me a day off?
While listening to what else Grace was saying towards him Dusty really not help but use his manners around this beautiful young lady. Beautiful she is well more than that. WOW…Dusty!!! You have just met her calm down.[‘/i]
Yes Madame, I do owe the pub that is just down this path, I take it you have heard of the pub before? his lyrics were calm and it was easy on some words to tell that this werewolf was not from around this area.

I'll be the one if you want meto.♥ Anywhere I would have followed you. Say something I'm giving up on you.
Grace couldn't help but feel somewhat secure around this man. She didn't feel anyway threatened by him, or the fact that he was roaming around the woods after dark. Even though any normal person would have probably been wary of him. Grace had no problem trusting people, because she never knew anything different. She had never been put into a situation where she would ever have to worry or fear someone. It just wasn't in her nature. Grace was so naive to the evil's of the world.
A soft whispering began to resonate in her head, causing Grace to tense slightly and listen. Where was that coming from? She glanced quickly at Dusty, but he didn't seem to be bothered by anything at all. She decided to shake it off, focusing on what Dusty was saying to her. Yes Madame, I do owe the pub that is just down this path, I take it you have heard of the pub before? Grace smiled sweetly at him, putting all of her attention to him. She wanted to get out of these woods. Of course. I hear a lot of the partiers at my school talk about it. They've said it's a pretty cool place. I've always wanted to check it out, but none of my friends are really all that big on coming out in the woods to a pub. she explained. An amused smirk lifted her lips. I don't think you would really want anymore people my age knowing too much about it or you'll have after parties rolling in.
A lot of times, they would meet at the bar in town for dancing and such after sports events or competitions to celebrate. In such a small town it was easy to get close to the bartenders and they'd sneak you drinks if you were underage. No one really cared anyways, as long as no one drove. Another breeze picked up, sending a light shiver through Grace's body once more. She wrapped her arms around herself, tucking her hands into the sleeves of her hoodie. She really did not like winter. Watch out for the Bite Noticing that Grace’s body language had suddenly changed, somehow made this werewolf very concerned, even though he knew he had only just met her this very night. Why…am I so concerned about her…When I have just met her this very night for the first time? this werewolf could still feel his body temperance rising despite the fact that it was meant to be a cool night. Let’s get out of her Dusty, before it gets even darker, back to the nice warm pub. about a minute later Dusty started talking again You okay madam?Turning away from her he then started walking towards the main path and off back towards his pub. Without looking like he was really paying any attention to what this beautiful young lady was saying to him he had heard every word of what she was saying. I think I need to cool off a bit more. Now where did I leave my jacket was it inside or outside the pub door? Yeah, to many young people parties aren’t that good, but a few parts here and there are okay with me. Well as long as nobody destroys the pub. After a little pause this werewolf then started talking once again So are we going to stay in this dark forest all night? Or are you going to follow me to the pub? his voice was still calm because he knew that he would have to get back to his pub soon to see how his staff was getting on. [/ font] [/ div]

Only love is all maroon. ♥ Lapping lakes like leery loons. Leaving rope burns; reddish rouge.
The whispering was still going on inside her head. It was like multiple voices were trying to tell her something, all at the same time. She couldn't make out a single word that was being said. She was brought back to attention at the sound of Dusty's concerned voice. You okay, madam? she nodded her head quickly in response. Yes, I'm fine. Please, call me Grace. Grace added, smiling sweetly at him. Though, she didn't mind how polite she was. It was a nice change from being called 'girl' or 'babe' or other obnoxious names from guys at her school.
Grace watched as he turned and started walking away from her. Her blue eyes popped open wide, a slight panic gripping her heart. Oh, please don't leave me out here by myself. she thought, fear creeping back into her head. Yeah, to many young people parties aren’t that good, but a few parts here and there are okay with me. Well as long as nobody destroys the pub. Grace was thankful to hear him respond to her again, and that gave her some initiative to take a few steps in his direction. Some of the groups have a tendency to get reckless at the bar in town... So I'd definitely be careful who you let in. Has seen windows being broken, pool sticks snapped, chairs broke, and all kinds of things damaged at the one in town.
So, are we going to stay in this dark forest all night? Or are you going to follow me to the pub? he suddenly questioned. Grace blinked a couple times before breaking into a light jog to catch up with him. As long as your pub is warmer than it is out here, yes I will follow you to your pub. she said, falling into stride beside him. CREDIT to accio sonic!@shadowplay
