DON'T YOU DARE LOOK OUT YOUR WINDOW DARLING, EVERYTHING'S ON FIRE THE WAR OUTSIDE OUR DOOR KEEPS RAGING ON When you found out your life was eternal, and that there would be no natural end, you had to make a very, very serious decision. for Liu, it was love. Her heart longed for love, a family, and to find it, but she also knew she had to be very careful. Not every being was immortal. She couldn't picture loving someone for years, only for them to be taken away by time itself when she could do nothing to stop it. it was the only thing the Original Werecat feared in life. The one thing she longed for the most - love - terrified her. Throughout her long-lived life, she had met many people, and only one that she knew and called a friend still lived. She watched many close friends perish with time while she stayed frozen in it. Thoughts like this crossed at times when Liu let herself sink into her emotions, standing on the top of the building she worked in, looking over the city. It was beautiful at night. She could see the glow of times square, and below people talking. A small smile caused her lips to twitch. It might seem sad, but Liu loved watching life. She had done so for almost six thousand years. From when children were born, to when they died. When she lived in Russia for the first part of her life, she stayed for close to two-hundred years and watched many lives come and go. It was morbid, but it was a part of her life. That was why she feared becoming close with anyone who was not immortal. She didn't want to watch a close friend be taken by time, and it broke her heart. Liu sighed softly and turned, making her way to the rooftop exit and to the elevator that would take her down to the ground floor. Entering the elevator, she pressed the button and leaned casually against the hand rail. Her eyes focused on the floor numbers as they changed. An amused smirk lifted her lips. Technology still fascinated her. It was amazing how things had changed over the thousands of years she had lived. The sheer intelligence and creativity was simply amazing. At the thought of technology, a small buzz sounded from her cell phone tucked into the pocket of her black slacks. It was most likely an email from a co-worker or a fashion company asking about her spring collection that would soon be released. Yes, Liu still lived a normal life even though she was a creator of an entire line of species. She didn't live on a pedestal or even expect others to treat her that way. That is one reason why she hid what she was so very well. Being almost six thousand years old, she had superb control over the anger, the full moon, and the change. The only ones that knew what she was were other supernaturals that could sense and smell her. That didn't mean they had to know she was an Original, unless they had heard stories about her. The only person who truly knew who she was just by looking at her was her long lost friend Dimitri, and she hadn't seen him in almost four thousand years. Finally, the elevator dinged and the doors opened, and Liu made her way to the exit of the building. Stepping outside, the chill of the air washed over her once more, but didn't bother her all that much. Glancing down the sidewalk at her flashy BMW M3, she debated on whether or not she was ready to go back to her apartment yet. It wasn't that cold out tonight, and the sky was clear. She could hear the bustling excitement in times square, and it tickled her fancy to go join the crowds and disappear for a while. Finally, she came to a conclusion and tucked her keys back into her pocket and began walking down the street. Why not go enjoy the bustling life of the city for a little while? Liu had experienced a lot in her lifetime, but she still loved a little bit of excitement here and there. Rounding a corner down a street, the Werecat suddenly got a feeling she was being watched. Ancient instinct told her that she was, but she kept walking at her normal pace, acting normal, except now she was on high alert. Whoever was following her, and if they meant her harm, would severely regret whomever they thought they were stalking on this night, because even though Liu came across as petite and weak, she was not. All Were-creatures had enhanced strengths, but being an Original of a species, her enhancements were more advanced. Also, with that being said, Liu knew multiple forms of defense fighting, some techniques dating back to ancient Chinese Wushu styles. She was a force to be reckoned with when provoked, but she would do everything in her power to not let it resort to violence. Liu had never been a fighter. In all of her years of living, she preferred peace and tranquility. She was the nurturing type. She never involved herself in any wars, feuds, or anything. She did not support them, nor did she condone them, and she didn't step in. Liu kept a watch over her species though, including all types of Werecats. They were like her children, and thus they would be protected as such, no matter the circumstance. The sensation of being watched and followed still hadn't stopped, and Liu narrowed her eyes slightly. If you're going to make an appearance, please do soon. I don't want to be followed all night. she thought, unamused by this little event. MADE BY ★MEULK OF THQ

Dimitri snapped one last photo and looked at the monitor beside him then up at the production manager of the shoot. With a nod from the woman they were done and Dimitri began to pack up his equipment. While he was slipping his camera into his bag a model walked up to him and begun flirting, which he didn’t seem to notice as he casually conversed with her and to him it was all going well. Until he realized his left cuff had come undone and he quickly went to button it again. It was in this moment that the model noticed the tattoo on his wrist. “Who’s Roza?” she asked with intrigue and Dimitri’s mood took the quickest of down turns in that instant. A deep scowl crossed his face as he buttoned the cuff and looked back up at her.
“Roza is…” he sighed and growled at himself, “Roza was my daughter.” He muttered.
“Oh. I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to pry.” She said apologetically with a hand on his arm but no amount of apologizing would make this better.
“Don’t worry about it.” He said as he put his camera bag over his shoulder and grabbed the remainder of his things. “I have to go.” He turned his back on her then and walked away, leaving her stunned, but he needed to get out of there desperately. The reminder of his daughter pulled at his heartstrings and he suddenly had the urge to do something he shouldn’t and that poor girl could not be on the receiving end on one of Dimi’s famous rages. Once he was far enough away and on a less crowded street he pulled a file from his bag and flipped it open. It contained a picture of his newest prey and detailed notes about him. He had held off on going after this one, he hadn’t gathered enough evidence to prove his death was necessary. He desperately hoped that this time would be different though, he wanted to feel better and he practically prayed that his morals would go away for just one minute. But alas, they didn’t work. He had gained far too many morals back when he was still in Russia to kill someone on a whim so the magi he had been hunting down would get to live a little longer. “Dammit!” he cursed loudly which caused people to look at him as he shoved the file back into his bag. With a growl of warning that came from deep within his chest everyone had been startled into practically running away from him. They were lucky they had too because he was bound to lose it any second now if he didn’t get the rage that was overtaking him under control.
His eyes slammed shut and he bit into his cheek, causing himself to bleed, “Relax…” he kept repeating to himself as he beat the palm of his hand into the side of his head. “Focus. You were taught better than this. They expect more of me than this.” He muttered, talking about four people in particular. After several minutes of just standing there trying to regain his composure it slowly started to come back to him. He definitely needed some distraction to keep his mind occupied until he no longer wanted to slit someone open from naval to sternum but at least he didn’t want to rip someone’s head off anymore. And lucky for him he had his camera with him, which would give him the perfect distraction for a couple of hours knowing him.
That is exactly what he did too. His camera clicked multiple times as he walked down bustling streets, he was still relatively new to New York and everything still fascinated. So by the time the sun started to set and the city was being lit up by the bright and busy lights of every building he was almost out of space on his camera. “Damn me for not bringing another one today…” he sighed to himself but at least he had just a bit more space and that would have to satisfy his needs for the evening. After all, he was no longer focused on what the model had brought up.
As he wandered about, choosing the next thing he snapped carefully, his eye was drawn to someone and he followed her. He briefly thought that this could be considered creepy but he stopped caring when he focused his camera on her. Once the picture had snapped and he looked down at it he noticed she seemed tense. ‘Perhaps this wasn’t my best idea… I have probably scared her…’ he thought as he looked back up at her, debating on whether or not he should apologize. Having made a decision he cleared his throat, “I… I’m sorry if I scared you or freaked you out… I’m a photographer and I wasn’t thinking that me following and watching you would be weird until after I saw how tense you were…” he bit the inside of his cheek as he stood there awkwardly.

c'est la vie, c'est la mort YOU AND ME FOREVERMORE. Picking up on the presence of a person nearby wasn't difficult for the Werecat. It was like she had a detector in her head went off every time it happened. How it worked, she was still unsure. It was an odd thing, and it fascinated her still. Whomever was following her was getting closer, because the feeling was stronger and she paused in her step, her heels ceasing their noise on the concrete. Then, the voice swallowed her like a wave. It was almost like time stood still when the deep, smooth voice entered her ears. Everything seemed to go silent around her, the only noise that she heard was the echoing of his voice and her heartbeat drumming in her head. It was impossible. She was terrified to turn around to see if what her brain was screaming at her was true. Every hair on her neck was on end, and goosebumps trailed on her skin. Her shoulders straightened, her entire body going rigid, the only thing moving was her hair as a gentle breeze blew. To make matters worse, a scent that she had became so familiar with nearly four thousand years ago wrapped around her. Her eyes closed tight. You're dreaming... You have to be dreaming... she told herself. Finally, she opened them, taking a deep breath. Slowly, and very hesitantly, she turned, her eyes landing on Dimitri. The sight of him standing there behind her, camera in hand, made her feel like she was punched in the stomach. She had stopped breathing, her deep blue eyes widening. She couldn't think. Her lips parted as if she were going to speak, but no words came. Liu could feel the tears burning her eyes. Finally, a small noise left her throat. "Dimi?" The sound was small, her voice breaking as she said the small, two syllable word. It had been four thousand years since she had seen him. Since she had left Russia, leaving behind not only the best friendship she had ever had, but also someone she loved deeply. That was the reason she left. Her feelings that had formed for him she deemed selfish. He had been grieving over the loss of his family, and she felt that even a mere hint of what she had for him was out of line. There was no way she could have done that to him. Liu had tried letting go of the love she had for that man. For a while, she thought they had disappeared, but he always stayed in the back of her mind. He had consumed her completely, and she couldn't do anything about it. Even after four thousand years, the sight of him in front of her sent her heart into a flurry and her brain to hardly function. It was strange for Liu to feel that again. She had turned into a woman of elegance and posture over the few years she had spent in New York. It was written all over her, with the way she was dressed. She had done well with adapting to the modern life, fighting her way into a richer life. She was a top fashion designer, making way above average salary per year, and also getting bonuses on magazines, photo shoots, fashion shows, and other various events that she took place in. Any company that wanted her line in a store, in a catalog; they bought a share. What he did to her, completely shattered that persona, and she was reeling. She didn't know how to react, what to do, or what even to say. He had her flabbergasted, and she was vulnerable, all of her walls crashing down around her. MADE BY ★MEULK OF THQ
