OVERALL PERSONALITY: Though he was never a particularly happy in both his human and early vampiric life Andrei took a turn in his life. He became a loner, never allowing people in unless given a good reason. He is very serious and while he is working there are very few things that can grab his attention until he has found and/or killed his target. He is also easily angered, if not almost always angry, and growls at most anything. He isn't afraid to kill whomever or whatever has angered him. He is known to go on blind rages that often result in mass murders.
This is not to say that Andrei does not have a soft side. He does, it is just one that is rarely ever seen. When he cares for someone he does so fiercely, being sure to defend them to no end. If you have his trust he is supremely loyal.

HISTORY: Born in the area that is now Belovo, Russia in the year 1,000, he is the second born to the Belkov family. The Belkov's were extremely lucky in their early years, having successfully brought 5 children into the world that also were raised to adulthood despite the cold climate they lived in. The five children and their parents were a tight bunch, relying heavily on one another. However, after the age of fifteen Andrei and his older brother, Fillip, left the household to train to fight, leaving their homes for good. Filip and Andrei remained together, managing to stay alive through many battles, almost unscathed. They thanked the Belkov family luck for this.
However, one day their luck came to and end. Andrei and Filip fought side by side as they always had but one misstep caused Filip to end up with a sword through his gut. Having seen his brother fall Andrei fought with even more fervor. It wasn't until he was forcefully pulled away from their losing battle after he was severely injured that he finally put his sword down.
That night, the four men that had pulled him away laid him down and made a fire, knowing that it would be his end. However, before Andrei could slip away he listened while all of his friends were slain while he just laid there, unable to do anything. It was after that happened that a mysterious man came up to him. He introduced himself as Vasile, a man that could give Andrei life once more, and better yet it would last an eternity. Andrei, afraid of death, accepted his offer and didn't even care about all the implications that would come with the change.
For three centuries Andrei served his creator whenever needed and without questions. His hunting skills proved rather useful during this time. However is was around the end of the fourteenth century that he stopped his killing when he found love in an Italian vampire named Cecilia. She was only around fifty years old when they met. They two spent twenty seven years together before the fateful day occurred.
Andrei had killed the "daughter" of a local farmer who was also a vampire and the man immediately wanted vengeance. He sought to take another life but not of the man that had murdered his daughter. Through observation he found out about Cecilia and plotted her demise. He gathered his coven of vampires and hunted the two down. After being overcome by the group Andrei was forced to watch as Cecilia's heart was torn out of her chest. He was then tied up and made to watch her body burn. Once there was nothing but a pile of ashes left he was cut free. The event did not have the desired effect. Rather than teach him a lesson, it instead made Andrei vengeful and crazy. He let out a loud snarl and murdered every vampire that was involved in the death of his beloved.
Many people proceeded to die by his hand for many centuries after. If someone so much as looked at Andrei the wrong way their entire family was murdered in cold blood. He lived a life of little remorse, killing as he pleased. He traveled the world and began to take jobs as an assassin, giving him more excuses to kill. He had become a killing machine.
He was in North America during the Civil War and used this time to go on killing sprees that would go undetected. He made a friend named Roman and though the vampire did not approve of Andrei's mass murdering he didn't necessarily stop them either. Thanks to Andrei many families were left without their sons and husbands. After a while his friend was done with the massacres and the two parted on bad terms.
Shortly after he returned home to Russia an built a home where his old one once stood. He spent years in the Belovo, helping to begin the were arena there. From there life had become one boring blood soaked day after another for him. That is until he came across a certain redhead.
At first it was casual and kept secret but this girl had created feelings in him that he had not felt since Cecilia. And then she was gone just like that. His feelings intensified beyond what he had felt for his past love despite the separation to the point that it prompted him to make a visit.
The reunion was initially happy but this didn't last long. He soon learned who creator was, the same vampire that he had parted on bitter terms with after the Civil War. What Andrei was unaware of was the fact that Roman had information on him regarding Olivia's husband. Apparently, unbeknownst to him, Andrei had murdered Olivia's husband when he went on one of his mass rages. Roman threatened to expose the truth and despite Andrei's pleadings not to he did anyway. In a blind rage he murdered Liv's creator and only caused more distance in their relationship, ending in the termination of it. After which he returned to his ways of mass murdering once again.
Andrei lived his life in Russia for the most part and kept away from most everyone, up until he heard of the Belkov family in town. This caught his interest and he did extensive research, he wanted to know if his suspicions were true and they were. The Belkov's were in fact descendents from his family. Even though he had become a sociopath borderlining on psychopathic family still meant a lot to him so he wanted to get to know them. Though they were weary of him Alexandra warmed up to him quickly and he took a liking towards her as well. However, one day he had to pull himself away from the family entirely. He had managed to anger someone and he didn't want to put Alex and her family in harms way. He managed to kill the vampire that was after him but he never went back to the Belkov home, fearing that if something like this were to happen again he wouldn't be so fortunate as to kill the person after him. However, he always watched after the family from a far.
After the family moved to America Andrei stopped following but kept tabs on them through others to be sure they were safe. Soon after though he moved to the states himself and settled in Sin City and settled there, his ways had begun to tame but from time to time his blind rages would be the cause of his disappearances from the city, not that anyone would notice.
Due to the tabs he kept on the living members of the Belkov family he was informed that Alex had gone missing, however this news came too late to save her completely. He started a raid on the place with the aid of others and everyone that was in the building was killed except one. Despite his thirst for vengeance he first started off looking for Alex and without a word he slipped out of the building, leaving the others behind to do the deed for him. However, he was unable to return Alex to her mother. The girl was going to die and, even though he had always refused to take a progeny, he turned Alex without a second thought. He took her to her home in Las Vegas, where he keeps in eye on her to make sure she learns to control her urges.
