Meenah decided to take a walk, clear her mind after all she had not been in this town for long. She didn't get to know anybody either much less get a long though the stench of the vampires seemed to wrinkle her nose. Why did those things even exist, how did they exist? They weren't even alive! Much less humane about hurting others. Tucking her hands within her jeans she remained deep in thought thinking of ways to spice up her interest within this town. The sky was dark but it was early morning, so the sun would be brushing through the grey sky from the blanket of midnight blue. Her sapphire blue eyes reflected the lights of the town as she gazed around. Some Valentine's decorations were gracing the windows of certain shops as sales in other places seemed to have a percent off of something. Not like it mattered, Meenah didn't care much for material things. She was after all a very old werewolf, born into it but old nonetheless.
Brushing her blond hair from her face she pulled her dark grey blue trench coat over her black pull over sweater as she shivered lightly standing in front of a window, observing the decorations of cupid and hearts before she entered the coffee shop. Shivering as the warm air collided with the cold caused her cheeks to flush as she moved toward the booth waiting to be seated. Chewing her bottom lip she watched as everyone was busy talking about plans, romantic rendezvous plans. She smiled sadly at some of their plans, before blinking as the hostess directed her to come with her to be seated.
As Meenah sat down she slowly pulled off her jacket as the waitress pull out a pad and pen. "What can i get for you to drink ma'am?" She asked as she gently handed her a menu, Meenah blinked at the Valentine themed menu and chuckled softly before she looked up at the waitress.
"I'd like a hot coffee with lots of whip cream please?" She asked, the waitress smiled writing it down attending to another customer before going in the back. Meenah looked at the menu for a moment before closing it and rested her elbow on the surface of the table. Propping her hand up to hold her chin as she leaned into the palm of her hand as her blue eyes watched the bustle of people outside. Moving too and fro, going to work, heading home. Busy being people while she remained as she often had been, alone and wandering. What was she looking for, she did not know. She only wished that this lonely feeling would go away. She almost growled when the waitress came back unexpectedly with her drink, but withheld and gave her a tight smile as she gingerly took it. "Thank you."
"You're welcome, is there anything you'd like to order from the menu?" The waitress asked gently, Meenah shook her head giving her the menu as she sipped her coffee. "No thank you, I'm good thanks." With a smile the waitress left to greet the customer who just came in.

Let us find perfection. And nonsense in all we are. Save defects for later. We're angels for now.
Anya was in a fairly good mood. She was woken up by Cleo licking her face with her sandpaper-rough tongue. Normally, it would annoy her to be woken up before her alarm went off, but with her savannah, it rude wake up call always made her smile. She stretched lazily before she reached over and scratched Cleo behind the ear in greeting before she got out of bed. She glanced at her alarm clock. It was a lot earlier than she was used to. She shrugged and decided to get ready for work and see how much time she had left to herself. She took a quick shower and then got dressed into a grey and white suit outfit. She fixed up her hair a little but left it down and then did her make-up. When she was satisfied, she fed Cleopatra, put her open toe white ankle boots on, and grabbed her white purse.
She pulled her car keys out and left her apartment. She got into her car and drove off, deciding to stop at her favorite coffee shop by the paper where she worked. A coffee and quick breakfast would be great just before work. She walked in and once she was seated she studied the menu until the waitress adressed her.
"Mocha Swirl frappucino and the peach and mango crepes with a side of hashbrowns, sausage links, bacon and toast." she said.
She handed the waitress her menu and than relaxed into her seat as she waited for her breakfast. She had quite an appetite most days, but rarely had time for a decent meal. Certainly not time for breakfast so now that she had some time on her hands, she was milking it for all it was worth.

Hush little baby, don't say a word Never mind that noise you heardIt's just the beast under your bed In your closet, in your head!
The werewolf played her fingers within the whip cream, sighing softly within her boredom. What was a girl to do, exactly in this town? Nothing was ever fun by herself and the fact of the matter was, perhaps it wasn't a good thing to walk. Glancing out in the state the weather was in she shrugged, pressing her warm mug to her lips. Her blue eyes flicked up as she caught the scent of a shifter. A female, curiosity holding her she scooted closer. Watching, observing. Just like Meenah to stalk, though she didn't consider it stalking. She considered more of gazing at people from a distance without them knowing. That and she was bored, tapping her fingers upon her glass she chewed the inside of her cheek in a desperate need to distract herself. The whirling thoughts. The lonely feeling, the obscured feeling of feeling alone, of which she gradually hid well. Sighing sharply she chewed her bottom lip before she pushed herself from her seat.
Slowly moving through the crowd of people her low heeled boots clacked against the tiled flooring before she made herself known to the woman, she didn't know how she should approach the shifter. Formally, casually. Meenah had observed many but never talked to many, she never had the chance nor the time to for her attention was always drawn away. Swallowing sharply she smiled timidly at the shifter. "Uh do you mind if i join you? if not i can just, go back to my table. I'm just bored and i seen that you were ... kinda like me but not quite." She spoke discreetly after a moment and chewed the inside of her cheek. She slowly sat down after a moment, tapping her fingers upon the mug she held within her fingers as she slowly chewed the inside of her cheek. Trying to think of a way to start a conversation before slowly playing with one of the salt shakers. Yep, she was very bad at socializtion. Especially when she didn't know what to talk about. Good job, Meenah. Not only are you succeeding on acting the age you're portraying you're socially awkward too. Get your shit together She thought to herself before she gave the shifter a timid smile."I'm uh... Meenah by the way.." She spoke, chewing her bottom lip as she cocked her head to the side before glancing down at her coffee. Listening to the continuous ringing of the bell as customers came within the establishment and away. Directing her attention back to the shifter she cocked her head to the side. She hoped she wasn't intruding, Meenah always seemed to hate that being done to her. Especially when she wasn't in a mood to convey into a conversation. But she was in need of socialization, she was pretty sure that if she played her cards right at any given reason she would be able to have a nice conversation with this woman, well hopefully. Slowly bringing her warm mug to her lips she sipped her cocoa and waited.

Anya smiled as she was given her order and immediately dug into her crepes first. She smelled her before the woman even reached her and paused as she listened to her approaching footsteps.
"Uh do you mind if i join you? if not i can just, go back to my table. I'm just bored and i seen that you were ... kinda like me but not quite."
She tilted her head and looked at the woman as she spoke. She certainly seemed harmless enough, and Anya didn't see the problem with having someone to talk to. She smiled at her and motioned for her to have a seat as she swallowed her crepes. She watched her fiddle with a salt shaker and took a sip of her frappuccino.
"I'm uh... Meenah by the way.."
"That's a pretty name," she complimented. "I'm Anya. Do you live here or are you just vacationing?"
It was sometimes hard to differentiate between residents and tourists, especially in the supernatural community. Most were old enough that travelling was common place and most just blended with the residents even when they weren't. Meenah certainly didn't look like tourists, but that didn't mean anything. She checked the time on her cell phone just to make sure she still had time to socialize and eat. She did so she relaxed further and continued to eat as she waited for Meenah to answer her question.

"That's a pretty name," The woman complimented, causing Meenah to pick at her fingers flushing faintly at the compliment. She wasn't so used to flattery unless it came from Nik, that and the fact she didn't really put herself out there. But then again things needed to change a bit every now and then right? "Uh hum, thank you." She spoke taking the compliment as she rewarded her with a gentle gratitude. She looked down at her hot coffee with whip cream, dipping her finger into the cream and slowly sucked it off her finger as she flicked her blue eyes up at the woman.
"I'm Anya. Do you live here or are you just vacationing?" The woman asked, introducing herself. She bit her lips together as she watched the shifter as she checked the time on her phone. Did she have to go to work or was Meenah that boring? She didn't really know, she gave a crooked smile before she brought her hot drink to her lips blowing off the steam and sipped it. "Wandering actually, i don't stay in one place for too long if i have no purpose in it. Sight seeing and whatnot if you will, guess you can say i'm a type of tourist. I don't really have a home here anyway, i'm just... i think i'm looking for something or someone. Doesn't hurt to make friends along the way i mean... i don't put myself out there like i am doing right now. Because honestly i don't invade someone's time to reflect on their things and probably disrupted your whole schedule probably, or i'm boring you." She laughed, gesturing toward her phone as she slowly set her mug down.
She looked over her shoulder as the bell jingled over the door where a couple came in, she smiled softly at the couple. Gently reminded of how she and Nikolai partook their time together. Everyone thought they were a couple, in which case they weren't but at times Meenah wanted them to be. Chewing her bottom lip at the memories, she blinked out of her stupor realizing she had company and cleared her throat turning around. Flushing in embarrassment. "Sorry i got lost in my thoughts...."

Anya looked at where the girl just gestured and flushed with embarrassment. She was usually more polite and attentive than she was being at the moment. Pocketing her cell phone, she gave the other woman an apologetic smile.
"It's neither of those things, honestly," she assured her. "Want to know a secret? I disrupted my own schedule just by waking up this morning. I don't usually get up so early. I get up, get ready and usually only have time to stop at a McDonald's drive-thru or something before heading straight to work. I'm not used to having this much time on my hands."
She trailed off as she noticed Meenah's attention turn to the couple that just entered. Anya couldn't blame her. Soon as she got a good look at them herself, her own thoughts went to Michael. She missed him and would probably call him after work to talk to him.
"Sorry i got lost in my thoughts."
Anya waved her apology away with a wave of her hand and a smile.
"Don't worry about it," she said. "Would you like a sausage or bacon?"
